2. Make XF86Config and Cycle video output mode
First, make XF86Config for you NOTE-PC.
Second, to get X to work, you have to start X and then cycle through the
builtin display modes, LCD, TV, VGA+LCD etc via hot switch keys(check
your NOTE-PC user's manual, My NOTE-PC is with Function Key[Fn] +
[F2]). And I hope to the X display appears fine.
3. Change BIOS video mode
Almost NOTE-PC which is 800x600 or over pixels has two LCD-TEXT
modes.
One is [EXPAND TEXT MODE]: a console text is showen in all
LCD area and characters are magnified.
The other is [NORMAL TEXT
MODE]: a console text is showen in center LCD area and characters are
not magnified .
Solution: change TEXT MODE to
[EXPAND TEXT MODE] from [NORMAL TEXT MODE] in BIOS SET-UP.
